Fern and Frank's Wedding

Fern and Frank's wedding occurred three weeks after ours.  I was really looking forward to this as Frank and I would always discuss our wedding plans with each other.  We would talk about all the details, right down to what chair covers and table clothes we would be using.  We were probably a little more involved in our wedding planning than other guys.

Fern and Frank held their ceremony at the Palmdale Estates in Fremont, CA, a beautiful place nestled in the suburbs of Fremont.  The weather did not disappoint and the clouds were just beautiful that day.  The parasols provided were a nice addition and matched the color theme of their wedding.  The beautifully colored flowers and bouquets completed the ceremony decorations.  This was a fun and lighthearted wedding which was very fitting to the couple's personality.  Congratulations Frank and Fern!  Here are some of my favorites of the day.

Just a basket of parasols on the ground or a nicely coordinated detail of the wedding?

I love taking detailed photos during a wedding.  Who knew music sheets can turn out so nice.

The bride and groom captured in the background of the harpist.

The lovely bride and groom, officially married.

Below is a slide show of  more photos throughout the day.  The music used was from Frank and Fern's first dance, "You Are the Best Thing" by Ray LaMontagne.

Monique and Raymond's Wedding

The first wedding of 2010 for my wife My and I was at Monique and Raymond's wedding at The Bridges Golf Course in San Ramon, CA.  The weather could not have been more perfect on their special day.  The venue and flowers were just beautiful.  Elegant center pieces and minor details on the individual place cards made the wedding their own.  Dinner was served family style and entertainment included a dragon dance.  What a wonderful start to the wedding season.  Congratulations Monique and Raymond!

I had a feeling that the ceremony was going to be an emotional one.

This moment in the ceremony is timeless and will be cherished for a lifetime.

I managed to capture Monique and Raymond sneaking a kiss after the vow ceremony.

The timing and lighting worked in my favor for this photo.  One of my favorites of the day.
